Mend & Meal with Old Flame Mending at Otto Finn
Mend & Meal is back at Otto Finn with our friends from Old Flame Mending! Come join us for an evening of mending and munching on Thursday October 16th, from 6-8pm. Bring a hand sewing project you’re working on. Wendy from OFM will be with us to offer expert advice. Some supplies will be available, but we recommend bringing your own. Manduhandu food is available for pre-order. Reserve your spot at the event through OFM here. Otto Finn is located at 4607 Butler St, in Lawrenceville.

Kimchi Workshop @ Workshop PGH
Join us at Workshop PGH for our Kimchi Class! We will be making three kinds of kimchi: Mak Kimchi (Chopped Napa Cabbage), Oi Kimchi (Cucumber Kimchi), and Kkakdugi (cubed radish kimchi). Participants leave with three 12 oz glass jars of the kimchi we will be making together. Come learn about the thousands of years old tradition of Kimjang. Chuseok Kimchi Workshop At Two Frays
Join us in celebrating Chuseok with our friends at Two Frays Brewery! Octobers Mod Monday is on the 6th. Two Frays will be serving NA beer. Sunni will be hosting a Mak-Kimchi workshop in the pavilion, where participants will learn the basics of kimchi making and make chopped Napa cabbage kimchi together. Each participant will leave with a 32 oz glass jar of kimchi. the workshop includes one NA beer from Two Frays. Two Frays is located at 5113 Penn Ave. Register Here.

Workshop Fall Fest
Workshop’s Fall Fest is Back with over 75 local makers, artists, vintage, community groups, and Fall festivities including DIY craft stations, a pumpkin patch, games, food and drink, and more. Manduhandu will be popping up with your favorite Korean Vegan & Gluten-Free food. It’s our favorite season, and we’re so excited to see you there!

VegFest 2025
Manduhandu will be returning to Pittsburgh VegFest August 16th for the third consecutive year! We can’t wait to see you there among all the other vegan vendors! We’ll be popping up with our friends at Fungus Books & Records on Friday, August 1st. Make sure to stop in and check out the great collection, and visit our friends next door at Workshop and Psari Market! Workshop will have free weaving kits available. We will also be at Artsy Fartsy (Workshop’s Penn Ave Artist Collective) for Unblurred, First Fridays in Garfield (6-9pm).

Manduhandu will be at the third annual Lawrenceville Pride Festival 2025, Saturday, June 14th. Manduhandu will be there from 12-4pm. The festival continues through 10pm.

Mend & Meal
“Join Old Flame Mending at Otto Finn to stitch with other menders + sewists, ask for mending or alterations advice, and connect on slow fashion. This is not a structured workshop but rather a social sewing event where questions can be asked + answered by Old Flame Mending staff as well as others in the milieu. Participants are encouraged to bring their own supplies, but are welcome to use our thread, yarn, buttons, and fabric!”

Repair Café @ Construction Junction
Repair Café Pittsburgh (repaircafepgh.com) at Construction Junction (https://cjreuse.org/) is a free event with support for repairing items, such as electronics, furniture, clothing, small appliances, and more. Donations of materials and tools as well as skill share and monetary donations are accepted. Manduhandu will be at this event offering meals and banchan.

Join us at Forsythe Mini Golf in Carnegie on Thursday evening, for Sip N’ Putt! Back Alley Brewing Company and Fly by Night Hot Dogs will also be there. June 5th, 6-9pm
